Lucy Hamilburg was sitting quietly outside the cafeteria on a foggy Wednesday afternoon, and despite the decision of many students to wear sweats on such a cold day, Lucy showed that cold weather is no excuse not to be stylish. Lucy was wearing a patterned synthetic mystery fabric blouse from Urban Outfitters, a chunky beige sweater from Gap (a sale item, she boasts), jean shorts from Wasteland, a twisty brown belt from Urban Outfitters and black Converse from a running store. She accessorized with a twisty cool silver ring from the Fairfax flea market in LA, a necklace that she found in her sister’s room, with a petite silver heart pendant and another vintage pendant she purchased at the baby shop, Poppy Store, where she works at in Santa Monica. In order to see the world, Lucy wears lovely brown-rimmed David Benjamin frames, and puts all her school supplies in a brown tie string canvas backpack that she found at a store on Melrose for $15.

Lucy visits fashiontoast.com for style inspiration. “It’s a great blog to check up on. It’s a girl from London and she had the best clothes in the entire world. I’m really inspired by her stuff.” Lucy loves going to thrift stores, “Wasteland’s great, a little overpriced sometimes. I like Hidden Treasure in LA.” When it comes to deciding what to wear Lucy said, “I just go for it.”

this girl’s poppin for real. shit, hamilburg’s doin sf right!
I feel as though the only type of style that you have been highlighting is “LA Style”. (Besides the cool cowboy) Where is the glamour?
