Conor Chinn Named WCC Player of the Year

On November 19th, junior forward Conor Chinn was named WCC Player of the Year. Chinn led the Dons to the WCC Championship after the Dons were picked to finish 4th in the WCC. Chinn also broke the WCC record for most goals in a season with 14 goals and 17 goals total. Chinn was also named the league MVP becoming the third Don to get this honor. This is the Dons’ third league championship in 5 years. Head Coach Eric Visser was also named WCC Coach of the Year his third time getting this honor. Chinn’s teammate senior defender Jeff Russell was named to the WCC First Team and sophomore forward Bryan Burke, junior midfielders Jonathan Levi and Leon Williams were named to the WCC Second Team. Senior goalkeeper Jeremy Coupe was also recognized for his achievement for tying the WCC record for most shutouts with 6. The Dons are looking good to come back again next year with Chinn and a strong team to hopefully repeat their success.
