The Dons defeated the Urban Knights 2 – 0 on Friday at Negoesco Stadium. Five seniors on the men’s soccer team were honored on the field before the game commemorating their time and achievements on the soccer field. Junior forward Conor Chinn scored early in the first half with an assist by sophomore forward Jonathan McMullen. Freshman forward Felipe Cabrera scored the next goal for the Dons clinching the win. It was Cabrera’s first goal of the season. On Sunday the Dons traveled to Santa Clara to play in a WCC match-up. The Dons were able to pull out the win in double over time with a goal from Conor Chinn giving him his 13th goal of the season. The Dons won 1 – 0 making them tied for first place in the WCC with Gonzaga. The Dons return to WCC action in San Diego on Friday.
