Halloween on the Hilltop

Deciding what to dress up as for Halloween is one of the hardest choices a college student can make. The Foghorn asked three students what they dressed up as this year. All photos contributed by those interviewed.

  1. James Sunga, Senior Advertising Major

Sunga dressed up as Wallabee “Wally” Beatles, more commonly known as Numbuh 4, from the hit early 2000s Cartoon Network animated series, “Codename: Kids Next Door.” “I chose to do it because my girl is dressing up as Numbuh 3,” Sunga explained.

  1. Antoinette De Lira Lopez, Sophomore History major.

De Lira Lopez striked a pose as Raven from “Teen Titans,” the 2003 Cartoon Network animated series based on a DC comic book series of the same name. “Raven seemed like such a good fit,” De Lira Lopez said. “I remember watching Teen Titans and she was always my favorite character. She’s such an icon!” De Lira Lopez won second place at the Campus Activities Board’s Oct. 25 Fright Night Costume Contest.

  1. Hannah Zeman, Educational Technology Graduate Student

Zerman (middle), along with USF students Ari Berk (left) and Toni Sottile (right), dressed up as Ron Weasley, Hermonie Granger, and Harry Potter from the 2000s movie series, based on the book series of the same name. “It was a perfect costume for us,” Zerman said. “We all love Harry Potter and the trio pretty much describes us perfectly.”
