USF freshman Will Marquardt (left) and sophomore Jesus Romo (center) compete in the 1500 meter run at the San Francisco State University Invitational last Saturday. Marquardt finished second and Romo came in right behind in the third spot. The Dons won five events and set two school records at the meet. Alex Delgadillo won men’s javelin, Oliver Kirkeby won men’s shot, Michelle Born took the 1500 meter run, Nicole Bowler took the 800 meter run, setting a new school record and Alanna Nulph claimed the women’s shot title, also setting a new USF record.
